We have been fitting windows and doors from our Watford base since 1986.
This website does not sell anything
You cannot place an order or make a payment through this site. Everything here is for information, and the forms are there so you can ask us for a quotation or get in touch.
Asking for a quotation does not commit you to anything, and it does not create a contract between us. If you decide to go ahead after your survey, you will receive written paperwork setting out what we are supplying, the price and the terms, and that paperwork is what you are agreeing to. Nothing on this website forms part of it.
Using this website
You are welcome to browse the site, read the pages, download our guides and get in touch. In return, please do not:
- Use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that could damage it or interrupt it for anyone else
- Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, server or database that is not open to the public
- Introduce viruses or any other harmful material
- Collect information from the site using automated tools, including scraping our content, images or contact details for marketing or resale
- Copy our pages onto another website
We may suspend access to the site for anyone who does. If you do something to the site that is a criminal offence, we will report it.
The information on this website
We take care to keep this site accurate and up to date, and we would rather explain something properly than oversell it. Even so, the pages are general information about our products and services. They are not a survey of your home and they are not advice about your particular situation.
Windows, doors and glazing specifications change as manufacturers update their ranges and as the Building Regulations are revised. What is right for one property is not right for the next. Before you rely on anything here, please talk to us, or wait for your survey, when we can tell you what actually applies to your home.
The images on this site fall into two groups. Some are photographs of installations we have carried out. Others are supplied by the manufacturers whose systems we install, to show a range or a finish we can order for you. Either way, colours, finishes and hardware vary between ranges and reproduce differently on screen, so please view samples at our Watford showroom before choosing.
We may change, update or remove pages at any time, and we do not promise the site will always be available or free of faults.
Prices and price guides
Where we show prices or price guides on this site, they are there to give you a sense of cost. They are guides, not quotations, and they are not an offer we are bound by.
What your own job costs depends on sizes, the number of openings, the glazing and hardware you choose, access, the condition of the existing frames and reveals, and any making good needed afterwards. We will not know your price until we have surveyed your home, and that survey is free and carries no obligation.
Any special offer applies only while it is shown on the site and on the terms stated with it.
Brochures and downloads
You are welcome to download our brochures and guides for your own use while you are planning your project, and to share them with your household, your builder or your architect.
Please do not republish them, sell them, or use them as marketing material for another business.
Some brochures are produced by the manufacturers whose systems we install and remain their property. They are provided here for convenience and may be superseded by later versions.
Copyright and trade marks
The copy, photographs, page designs, videos and downloads on this site belong to Ruislip Windows or to the manufacturers who supplied them, and are protected by copyright.
You may print or download extracts for your own personal use, and share a link to any page. You may not otherwise reproduce our content, in any medium, without our permission.
This matters most with the photography. Where an image shows one of our own installations, it is our photograph of a real job, taken with the customer’s agreement, and it is not stock imagery for anyone else to use. Where an image comes from a manufacturer, it remains that manufacturer’s property and is used here with their permission, which does not extend to you.
The Ruislip Windows name and logo belong to us. Manufacturer and product names on this site, including the ranges we install, belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products we supply.
If you would like to use something from this site, please email office@ruislipwindows.co.uk and ask. We are usually happy to say yes.
Links to other websites
We link to manufacturers, to FENSA, CERTASS and Quality Assured National Warranties, and to review platforms and our social media pages. Those sites are run by other organisations, and we have no control over them or responsibility for their content. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the site it points to.

Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
What we do say is this. The site is provided for general information. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that arises from relying on the information here, for example a decision taken on the basis of a price guide or a specification before we have surveyed your home. Talk to us first, and the survey will confirm what is right for your property.
We are also not responsible for loss caused by a virus or other harmful material that infects your equipment because of your use of this site or anything you download from it. Please use your own virus protection.
If you use this site for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or loss of anticipated savings.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and the version on the site when you use it is the version that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
